He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Ragsdel and Neva Green Ragsdel; his daughter Valerie Ragsdel; and his siblings, Jerome Ragsdel and Dorthy Pullam.
He is survived by: his wife Jamie Blackburn; his daughter Monica Houchins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his stepson Chris Fleming of Knoxville, Tennessee; his sister Ineva Barker of Dexter, Missouri; his granddaughter Amber Chasteen-Clay; and his great grandchildren, Karson Johnson, Karter Kirkpatrick and Kamdyn Kirkpatrick.
