He is survived by: his wife Vicky Underwood; his son Donnie Lynn Hovis Jr. (Julie Hovis) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Dylan Hovis, Dustin Hovis (Katelan) of Dexter, Ricky Hovis of Bloomfield, Logan Denkins (Libby) of Dexter and Tiffany Hovis of Cape Girardeau; his great grandchildren, Easton, Ridge, Huntly, Denver, Weston and Rosalie; and his siblings-in-law, Rick and Derenda Underwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
