It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Barks of Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Barks and Jacob Barks; and his son-in-law David Vinson. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Kathy Viers (Dennis), Lisa Watson (Steven), Deanna Barks and Viki Vinson; his grandchildren, Jacob Watson, Kaitlin Smith (Colby) and Justin Viers; and his great grandchild Elyse Smith. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
