It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M Pearson of Dexter, Missouri, born in Bridgeport, Michigan, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Rhode and Dorothy Rhode (Matzke); her son Dale Pearson; and her siblings, Henry Rhode and Mary Crandall.
She is survived by: her children, David Pearson (Samantha) of Bloomfield, Missouri, Michelle Baxter (Becky) of Poplar Bluff and Melissa Pullum (Bill) of Essex, Missouri; her siblings, Art Matzke (Karen) of Birch Run, Herman Matzke of Saginaw, Michigan, Pat Woodcock of Bay City and Jo O'Connor of Saginaw, Michigan; her in-laws, Janice, Don Brown of New Madrid, Jimmy, Mary Pearson of Sikeston, Valerie Rhode of Bay City, George Bebee of Michigan and Mary Wentz of Michigan; her grandchildren, Devin Kuntz, Katlyn Pearson, Destiny Baxter, John Davis, Colt Pullum, Paige Pearson, Jadyn Davis and Konner Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Carter Spence, Alayna Spence, Easton Carter, Essie Hampton, Tate Spence, Bentley Pearson and Kayson Pullum. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
