He was predeceased by : his parents, Dave Jackson and Josephine Reiter Jackson Foster; his grandson John Vandeven of Bloomfield, MO; his stepfather W. E. Foster; his son Steven Jackson; his siblings, Dave "Jack" Jackson and Betty Mosbey; his half-brother Charles Jackson; his stepbrothers, Bill Foster, Harry Foster and Carl Foster; and his half-sisters, Maurene Box, Pearl Hill, Velma Evans, Carros Allen and Mildred Simpson.
He is survived by : his brothers, Harry and Carl Foster; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Litzler; his son John David Jackson (Marilyn) of Dudley, MO; his grandchildren, Patricia Vandeven, Pam Stuever (Jim) of Dexter, Erin Brown, Julie Richardson, Stephanie Jackson, Jennifer Hartlein, John Issacc Vandeven, Kris Vandeven, Amy Wynn, Michael Irvin, Amanda Brueggeman, Matt Stuever and Lauren Mayer; and his close friend Pansy Dennis of Bloomfield.
