Linda Northington Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2025, at the age of 74, Linda Northington of Dexter, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Betty McAnelly; her husband Earl "Wayne" Northington; and her father Paul "Doc" McAnelly. She is survived by: her children, Laura Northington of Polar Bluff, Kevin Northington of Dexter and Samantha Stocks (Robert) of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; her siblings, Patsy McAnelly of Jackson, Missouri and Steven; her sisters-in-law, Connie McAnelly of Jackson, Missouri and Dorothy Higginbotham of Dudley, Missouri; her grandchildren, Krista Sanders of Springfield, Taylor Fox (Thomas) of Alton, Bethany Krankel (James) of Brighton, Jacob Stocks of Elsah and Cheyenne Smith of Fayette, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Eliana Krankel, Bronwyn Krankel, Olive Stocks and Cecily Krankel.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Northington's name to a charity of the donor's choosing.
