It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Morris Gregg (Dexter, Missouri), born in Hackleburg, Alabama, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Columbus Gregg and Rebecca Elizabeth Armstrong Gregg; his wife Donna Mae Crow Gregg; and his siblings, Teela Bomar Koch, Estelle Dieter, Della Wilson, Jessie Link, Jean Dunn, Clovis Gregg of Floyd Gregg, R. C and I. J. Gregg.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Janice), Steven (Diane), Ron (George) and Mark (Barbara); his grandchildren, Christine Gill (Brad), Seth Gregg (Sally), Daniel Gregg (Laura), Samuel Gregg (Julie), Catherine Pannell (Cody), Candice Randolph (Dillon), Tyler Gregg (Jayme) and Chelsea Fox (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Rylie Phillips (Jacob), Maxwell Gill (Angel), Scarlet Gregg, Liam Pannell, Olivia Pannell, Charlotte Gregg, Emily Gregg and Nyles Gregg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
The family requests that all memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 11 W Caster Street, Dexter, Missouri 63841, or to the Dexter Rotary Club scholarship fund.
