She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawerence Shaner and Nellie Shaner of Fruitland, MO.; her husband Larry Matthews; her son Randy Matthews; and her siblings, Don Shaner, Jerry Shaner and Ella Belle Shaner.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Matthews and Bryce Matthews; her daughter-in-law Sherry of Dexter; her grandchildren, Amy Matthews (Robert), Landon Matthews (Jenn), Morgan Matthews (Amanda), Lane Glueck (Mitch), Austin Matthews (Mallory) and Corbin Matthews (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Madilyn Dunn, Mason Dunn, Chase Matthews, Addison Matthews, Graham Matthews, Linley Wallis, Oliver Glueck, Brooks Glueck, Kennedy Matthews, Kye Matthews, Kamryn Matthews and Mia Matthews; Barbara of Fair Grove, Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Global Methodist Church of Dexter, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
