He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilson Ray, Johnnie Little, Jack and Irene Smith; and his uncles, Mike Ray and Steve Ray.

He is survived by: his parents, Sharon Sue Longbottom (Alan Wilson) of Dexter, MO and Perry Jack Smith (Vicky) of Houston, TX; his grandmother Patty Little of Poplar Bluff, MO; his children, Skye Root of Houston, TX, Alistasia Smith of Joplin, MO, Chad Smith (Amber) of Dexter, MO and Kaleb Smith of Galena, KS; his siblings, Jason Smith (Andrea) of Katy, TX, Dawn Stadler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Kyle Smith and Lindy Smith of Houston, TX.; and his close friend Bryan Ferry. He is also survived by three grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews.
