He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Trask and Mary Trask (Lewis); his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Sandy. He is survived by: his wife Jean Phillips; his sons, Dennis Trask (Sheryl) and Don Trask (Diana); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Allison, Cassandra, Luke and Stephanie; and his sibling's children, Lisa Slap and Ryan Trask.

Memorials may be made to Ozark Regional Library.
