He was predeceased by : his parents, E. W. "Lige" Richmond and Hester Holcomb Richmond; and his siblings, Harry Richmond, Carl Richmond of Wayne Richmond, H. M, C. L. "Babe" Richmond and Marjorie Justice.

He is survived by : his son Randal W. Richmond of Dexter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
