He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ed Tippen and Mary Davis Tippen; and his brother Gary Tippen. He is survived by: his wife Sue Smith; his daughters, Jessica Wolfe of Pekin and Rachel Lamberson (Scott) of Green Valley, Illinois; his brother Kenneth Tippen (Ruth) of Bloomfield, Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Sue Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri and Kevin Smith of Bloomfield, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Hunter Lamberson, Macie Lamberson and Ethan Wolfe.
