It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Griffin of Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thelma has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Shane Griffin. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Dobson (Wayne); her grandchildren, Branda Bryan, Carey Sparks, Jessic Breeding, Tylor Griffin and James Griffin Jr. A; her great-niece Kathy Howell; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several great-grandchildren.
Covid caused a decline in health and she moved to Poplar Bluff and then Dexter, Missouri for assisted care from where her roots started.
