He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Alford Smith. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Curneal; his daughter Shawnta Thatcher-Hodge (Jamie) of Dexter, Missouri; his grandsons, Ethan Thatcher (Maddy) and Nathan Thatcher (Mallori); and his great grandchild Luke Thatcher.
