Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Camilia Lounette Burkey of Diamond, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 73, on November 20, 2025. Though Camilia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Camilia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huck Slavens and Norma Jean Slavens (Rickman). She is survived by: her husband Bruce Gale Burkey; her son Bart Burkey (Kelly) of Diamond; her grandchildren, Kanah McDaniel (Colton) and Barrett Burkey (Makya Neil); and her great grandchildren, Knoxlee, Lynnlee McDaniel and Oakleigh Neil.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel (12787 B Hwy, Granby, MO 64844).
