He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Marie Houk; and his parents, Bill Allan and Barbara Anderson. He is survived by: his children, John C. Allan II (Lydia) of Diamond and Krystle Carr (William); his stepson Bryan S. Houk of Granby; and his sister Donna Stewart of Joplin. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Baptist Church building fund.
