Jon Allyn Henson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Jon Allyn Henson of Diamond, Missouri. Jon, born on July 7, 1964, passed away on October 20, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon Allyn Henson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Tim Henson; his sister Amy Henson; and his grandparents, Jay, Hazel Fox, John and Zelda Henson.

He is survived by: his mother Naomi Henson (Fox); his friend John Hill; his wife Tammy Henson; his children, Timothy Enayati (Becca), Kelsey Parrish (Kyle), Samantha Enayati, Jake Henson (Shelby), Katie Schafer (Drake) and Sarah Parrish (Chase); his grandchildren, Avery Enayati, Emmett Enayati, Jaxton Henson, Brekkyn Parrish, JD Henson, Collin Parrish, Olivia Enayati and Kennedy Schafer; and his siblings, Bryan Henson, Shawn Smead (Sherry), Jennifer Bethurem (Jeff), Ashley Henson and Shelby Jinks (Chris). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished family friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason Woodard Mortuary Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Together, they built Henson Foundation Drilling and Henson Heavy Haul into successful businesses within the construction industry.
