With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Esther Sammons (Diamond, Missouri), born in Pineville, Missouri, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Mae (Seales) and Hershel Arley Henson; her husband James Monroe Sammons; her brothers, Victor Schmidt and Clyde Henson; her stepfather George Key; and her son Gerald Sammons.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Sammons (Leah), Patti Johnson, Rita Thurman (Tony), Kevin Sammons (Shona) and Glen Sammons (Anna). She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-great Grandsons, and many extended family.
