We announce the death of Tracy Joseph Douglas (Diamond, Missouri), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 58. Tracy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Thomas James Douglas; his father-in-law Jack Shepherd; his sister-in-law Joan Shepherd Jaccaud; and his grandparents, Marion "Tumpy", Alpha Miller, Walter and Rozella Douglas.
He is survived by: his mother Janice Gay Douglas of Knoxville, Iowa; his wife Jean Douglas of Diamond, Missouri; his sons, Taylor Jordan (Lucy) of Diamond and Ty Jaxson of Diamond, Missouri; his grandchildren, Joshua Tune of Neosho, Missouri, Cora James and Tilden Jack; his parents-in-law, Judy and Charles Yoder of Diamond, Missouri; his brothers, Timothy James (Robbie) of Brooklyn, Iowa, Thomas Jeffrey (Sharon) of Truor, Iowa and Terry Jay (Sareah) of Overland Park, Kansas; and his nieces and nephews, Ashleigh (Joel), Brandon (Emily), Brett (Hayli), Addison (Courtney), Kenzie (Billy), Brianna (Geoffrey), Garrett (Sarah) and Brooke (Jordan). He is also survived by 13 great-nephews and nieces; and extended aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Diamond Starts (501 W Market St, Diamond, MO 64840).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diamond GEM Fund, a not-for-profit organization that provides scholarships to Diamond graduates, or the Diamond High School Wrestling Program.
