He was predeceased by: his son Ronald Edward "Ronnie" Owens; his grandson Ty Krider Owens; his daughter Cindy Ann Witt; and his great grandchild Anthony Witt. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ann Lea; his goddaughter Brittni Ritchie; his granddaughter Cambri Shores; and also Mike Thurman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 11 siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
