Gerolene H. Hografe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerolene H. Hografe (Dittmer, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Eggers and Caroline Eggers; and her husband Harold Hografe. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Toomey (Joseph), Shirley Roth-Roffy (John), Kenneth Hografe, Mark Hografe and David Hografe; her grandsons, Kurtis Hografe (Lindsay), Michael Toomey (Alexandira), Stephen Toomey, Kevin Toomey (Megan), Eric Roth-Roffy (Jillian Lane), Brian Roth-Roffy (Abby) and Matthew Hografe; her brother Wayne Eggers; and her sibling's children, Gene Eggers (Dawn), Joseph Eggers (Donna) and Nita Eggers. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martins United Church of Christ (7890 Dittmer Ridge Rd, Dittmer, MO 63023). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Martin's Cemetery (7890 Dittmer Ridge Rd, Dittmer, MO 63023).
