Thomas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Thomas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd B. Chastain and Lucille C. Chastain (Whitley); and his brother Dave Chastain. He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Rogers of Dexter, Jo Ann Espada of Dexter, Jerrie Moore of Lutz and Carolyn Leach of De Soto, Missouri; and his friend Ron Clay of De Soto, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many beloved friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Soto Chapel (900 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
