He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walters and Ethel Walters (Hedrick); his brother Bill Walters; and his brother-in-law Emmett Brumley. He is survived by: his wife Janet Walters; his daughters, Carol McKinnon (Mike), Lisa Miller (Danny) and Teresa Stricklan (Troy); his grandchildren, Lance McKinnon, Nicholas Miller, Sarah Krull, Britny Washburn, Taylor Ortiz and Tanner Stricklan; his siblings, Sharon Routh (Dale), Tommy Walters (Donna), Ronnie Walters (Janice) and Patsy Brumley; and his sister-in-law Wanda Walters. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Dixon (400 W 4th St, Dixon, MO 65459). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
