She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Ryther and Dora Ryther; her siblings, Paul Ryther and Avis Breite; and her husband Donald Eugene Payne.

She is survived by : her daughters, Patty Hake (Mike) and Marilyn Bergjans; her granddaughter Gina Malawy (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Issabella, Ellery, Paisley and River Malawy.
