With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Edward Pruitt of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Hayti, Missouri, who passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Ollie Motley; his stepdaughter Lesley Ann Fitzgerald; and his sisters, Vetra Peoples, Linda Ellis, Rhonda Scrivner and Jenny Woodson.

He is survived by : his children, Dawn Nolfo (Louis) of Wildwood, MO and James "Dale" Pruitt (Latisha) of Festus, MO; his stepchildren, Charlene Marie Mills (Michael) of Doniphan and Gary Lee Stout (Jamie) of Festus; his siblings, Glenda Garner of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Langworthy of Doniphan and James West (Roxie) of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, Parker Nolfo, McKenna Mills, Hailey Pruitt, Choilynn Stout, Carter Nolfo, Gary Lee Stout, III, Cooper Nolfo, Lucas Pruitt and Easton Lee Mills.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
