He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Louie" Dawes and Dorothy Dawes (Stein); his wife Sue Dawes; and his brothers, Bill and Ronnie Dawes.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Dawes (Nickole) and Denny Dawes (Linda); his grandchildren, Josh, Faith, Aedan, Kaden, Lily, Aisley and Hazel; his siblings, Goldie Kay Diehl, Tim Farris, Duck Kampwerth, Randy Whiteside and Rocky Whiteside; Rick Nance (Sherri). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
