He is survived by: his wife Margaret Long (Archer); his children, Lisa Reynolds, Bradley Long and Tad Long; his grandson Christopher Long; and his brothers, Steve Long and Keith Long (Wally).
In lieu of flowers, Donnie requested that a tree be planted in his memory.
