She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Ponder and Opal Ponder (Decker); and her son Robert Looney. She is survived by : her husband Robert E. "Bob" Looney; her daughter Sandra Wilson (Kelly) of McCalla, AL; and her grandson Tim Walton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Amity Cemetery (Doniphan, MO 63935).
