It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Haney of Doniphan, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Johnathan and Anna Irene Haney (Sees); and his brothers, Lonnie, Joe, John, Frank, William "Thomas", Noah Haney and Marion Johnathan Haney, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Leland "Dale" Haney of Doniphan, Everett Wayne Haney of Doniphan and Georgia Lynn Haney of St. Louis; his stepdaughter Bertha Lynch; and his sisters, Anna Whaley of Doniphan, Clara Belle Ray of Handy and Sarah "Josephine" Chaffin of Williamsville, MO. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Handy Church (403 US-160, Doniphan, MO 63935).
