He was predeceased by: his parents, Overton Snell and Barbara Snell; his sister Kathy Thomas; and his brother-in-law Frank Thomas of Doniphan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Snell (Sudie); his children, Brian Snell (Cheryl), Kristi Lee (Jason), Kerri Shelton (Chris) and Bradley Snell (Christine); his grandchildren, Lauren Kilbourne (Austin), Collin Snell, Hunter Lee (Madison), Colton Lee (Julia), Raegan Shelton, Lacey Snell, Braden Snell, Jessica Peters (Kory) and Jake Shelton (Nora); and his great grandchildren, Sadie Grace Kilbourne, Levi Reece Kilbourne and Maisie May Kilbourne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of House Springs (4375 Gravois Rd, House Springs, MO 63051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016).
