He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Mathis Sr.; his brother Mike Charles Mathis; and his nephew Christopher Mathis. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Wayne Mathis (Stacy) of Lebanon, IL and Scott Dale Mathis (Misty) of Holt, MO; his mother Jetty Mathis of Poplar Bluff; his grandchildren, Skylar Mathis of O'Fallon, IL and Ryley Mathis (Deavon) of Liberty, MO; his great grandchildren, Nova Mathis of Liberty, MO and Estella Smith of Liberty, MO; and his niece Angela Mathis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Point United Pentecostal Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
