In loving memory of Regina Diane Wheeler of Doniphan, Missouri, who departed this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 76. Regina Diane leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Seeward Rance and Georgia Lou Chailland (McClain); her half-sister Rosemary Bryer; and her brother Melvin Rance Chailland. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Norwood (Louis) of Jonesboro, AR and Julie Boothe (Sam) of Doniphan; and her grandchildren, Maddox Wheeler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Aspen Wheeler of Doniphan, Xander Norwood of Jonesboro and Gunner Norwood of Jonesboro. She is also survived by relatives and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hunt-White Memorial Gardens (State Hwy Y, Doniphan, MO 63935).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the College of the Ozarks where Regina met and married Francis while they were earning their college degrees.
