It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ione Dalton of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Holcomb, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Lawson and Fannie Lawson (Cashdollar); her husband Joe Dalton; her brothers, Marion and Kenneth Lawson; and her parents-in-law, Earl and Ila Dalton.

She is survived by : her daughter Jennifer Dalton of Springfield, Missouri.; and her grandchildren, Sam, Anna and Emily Williams of Springfield.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri (3161 W Norton Road, Springfield, MO 65803) or St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
