Virginia Eileen Cates Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Eileen Cates of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Collinsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2026 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Rarick and Florence Rarick; her husband Avon C. Cates, Sr.; her children, Tina Cates and Avon C. Cates, Jr. (late Rachel); and her siblings, Maryann Rarick, Jeanette Robinson, Donald Rarick and Denny Rarick.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Cates (Danielle) and Loretta Cates; her great grandchild Mataia Cates; and her sisters, Gloria Wilson (late Gary) and Michelle Ubaudi (late Bob).
