It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Leslie Derleth of Dover, Missouri, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Leslie Derleth to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leslie and Grace Elizabeth Derleth (James); and his siblings, Carolyn Roncelli, Bobby Derleth and Richard Derleth.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Derleth of Dover, MO; his children, Christina Orf (Ken) of Olathe, KS, Jamie Crabtree (Steve) of Lexington, MO and Joseph "Joey" Derleth of Lexington, MO; his grandchildren, Quinten Orf, Sean Derleth, Aubrie Derleth, Cayden Crabtree, Jaxon Crabtree, Derrick Derleth, Trayce Derleth and Ricki Derleth; his great grandchildren, Maverick Derleth and Kynlee Stein; and his sisters, Pat Jenkins of Higginsville, MO and Jan Shuster of Blackburn, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lexington United Methodist Church (1211 S Business Hwy 13, Lexington, MO 64067). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 MO-13 BUS, Higginsville, MO 64037).
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Terry Derleth, for a charity to be decided at a later date.
