He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ray and Sarah Charlene Wells (Couchman); his wife Joyce Lee Pangborn; his children, Cheryl Wells, Charles Wells and David Wells; and his siblings, Joan Smith and Carl Ray Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Wells (Tana) of Lexington, MO and Bobbie Jo Poese (Jerry) of Concordia, MO; his grandchildren, Angela Turner (Chris Bennett) of Richmond, MO, Jeffrey Johnson (Leslie McNelly) of Hardin, MO, Drake Wells (Diana) of Grain Valley, MO and Ryan Poese (Sarah) of Odessa, MO; his great grandchildren, Shalynn, Kristen, Kurtis, Mylah, Enzo, Natalie, Abby, Cam, Luke, Braxton, Wagner and Scarlett; his great great grandchildren, Emberlynn, Everhett and Dauma; and his sister Majorie Young (Thomas) of Dalton, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
