He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold William and Mabel Pearl Yearns (Aldridge); his son Billy Joe Yearns; his grandson Nathaniel Kirk Dierling; his siblings, Otto Yearns (Geneva) and Martha Schmitter (Junior); his nephew Dwayne Yearns; and his siblings-in-law, Nikki Yearns and David Kollaszar.
He is survived by: his wife Nina Yearns of Downing, Missouri; his children, Patrick Yearns of Downing, Joan Dierling (Kirk) of Queen City, Kelly Yearns of Downing and Kim Hoover (Kevin) of Milan, Missouri; and his siblings, Earl Dean Yearns (Kathy) of Queen City, Leroy Yearns (Terri) of Queen City, Rose Mary Kollaszar of Queen City and Eugene Yearns (Mandy) of Queen City, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (402 W Washington St, Lancaster, MO 63548). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
