He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Bolling Harris; his wife Kay Harris; his father Chester Harris; and his brother Windy Harris. He is survived by: his grandsons, Stephan Ogden and Ethan Harris; his great grandchildren, Brylynn, Maelynn and Blakely; his children, Jim Harris and Sheryl Gilbert (Darrell); his sisters, Dorothy "Lucille" Tucker and Renee Cooper; his sisters-in-law, Rosalee Demott and Sue (Rick); and his grandsons, Andrew Gilbert (Britney), Christiopher Harris and Adam Gilbert (Makenna).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Drexel Chapel (136 E Main St, Drexel, MO 64742). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Drexel Public School Foundation.
