He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford W. Van Tyle and Hazel C. Van Tyle; and his former wife Cathy Sherman of Pleasanton. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Van Tyle (Paula) of LaCygne, Kansas and Amanda Van Tyle (Daniel Patterson) of Wellsville, Kansas; his grandchildren, Paytyn Elizabeth, Bryson Clifford and Wyatt Christopher; his pets, Gizmo and Shadow; and his friend Rick Kauffman.
