He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elbert and Eleanor; his wife Eunice Elbert; his significant other Ann Buckman; and his sister Betty Schonhoff (Jerome).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Elbert, Christine Elbert and Matthew Elbert (Kimberly Dewitt); his brother Harley Elbert (Marlene); and his close friends, Juan Canede, Ed Mroz and Patches. He is also survived by grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
