He is survived by: his children, John Brown, Jr. of Morehouse and Jessica Caniff of Matthews; and his siblings, Rev. Gary Brown (Becky) of West Frankfort, IL, Riley Brown (Kelly) of Virginia Beach, VA, Vanessa Brown of East Prairie, Sharon Mims of Charleston, SC and Kim Buttry (Larry) of Wyatt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
