She was predeceased by : her father Sterling Lee Joiner; and her grandparents, Luella, Johnnie Joiner, Nettie and Lonnie Mitchell.

She is survived by : her mother Peggy Mitchell Joiner of East Prairie, Missouri.; her brother Sterling Cortez Joiner of Dexter; and her nephew Darius Joiner. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
