He was predeceased by: his parents, Vick Linley and Clyde Mae Portwood; his brothers, Dick Linley and Calvin Hancock; and his grandson Little Jerry Portwood.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Linley of Corpus Christi, Steve Linley (Sonya) of East Prairie, Michael Linley (Marcie) of St. John, Indiana, Kay Portwood (Raymond) of East Prairie, Missouri and Sheila Sisk of East Prairie, Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
