Tommy Gene Martin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Gene Martin of East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Tommy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tommy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Martin and Wilma Coots Martin; his daughter Shannon Martin; and his brothers, David Martin and Gerald Ray Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Clark (Brad), Melissa Hancock (Heather) and Christopher Hancock (Courtney); and his siblings, Loretta Hays, Irene Stripling and Ricky Martin. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and one newborn great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
