She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Redd and Elsay Wasson Redd; her son Hershel "Wayne" Hosford; her stepdaughter Shelby Fritz; and her siblings, Hubert Redd, Sammy Redd, Laverne Johnson, Delores James, Vernell Smith, Roseline Gore and Imogene Dolojsi.

She is survived by : her spouse Jerry Fritz; her children, Nora Hosford of East Prairie and Rich Hosford of Keeler, MI; her sisters, Nora Hicks of Arkansas, Dora Dooley of Tennessee and Pearl Rice of Arkansas; and her stepchildren, Loretta Clayton of San Antonio, TX, Diane Krumroy of Baroda, MI and Edwin Fritz of Clovis, NM. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shelby Funeral Home (104 W Olive St, East Prairie, MO 63845). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
