He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Helton and Ernest Helton; his wife Betty June Helton; his son Roy Walker Jr.; and his siblings, Linda Dowell and Doyle Helton.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Helton, Jr. of St. Joseph, Shelly Trauernicht (Tony) of Craig, MO, Rhonda Walker of Helena, MO, Brian Walker of Binghamton, NY and Eric Walker of St. Joseph. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
