It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Pharris Goodwin of Edina, Missouri, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pharris Goodwin and Edith Mary Gosney Goodwin; his sons, Baby Boy Goodwin and Ronald Goodwin; his sisters, Dora Mae Corrick and Verna Marie Baltzer; his niece Deanna Boerchel; his great grandchild Barker Wilcox; and his brothers-in-law, Clarence Corrick and G. W. Baltzer.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Goodwin (Bevill) of Edina, MO; his children, Anita Goodwin of Knox City, MO, Karen Green (Luther) of Hurdland, MO, Scott Goodwin (Nancy) of Knox City, MO and Terrie Jo Clary (Dan) of Edina, MO; his stepchildren, Rosa Robertson (Jimmy) of Rutledge, MO and Jamey Blake of Edina, MO; his grandchildren, Heather Schrage, Michael Browning, Shawn Goodwin, Jacki Lee, Brandi Green, Julie Green, Anna Sabrina Applegate, Corrina Sells, Andrea Goodwin, Pharris Goodwin, Glen Goodwin, Carrie Phelps, Donnie Pflum, Montana Seibert, Justyn Robertson, Quinn Blake, Kaitlin Blake, Summer Howell, Whitney Thompson, James Duffy, Ethan Clary, Shane Clary and Danika Clary; and his niece Kimberly Irelan of Leavenworth, KS.. He is also survived by forty-seven great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home (408 E Morgan, Edina, MO 63537). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Knox City Cemetery.
