He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilma Mary Ott Schwedler and Raymond Schwedler; his son Richard Schwedler; his brother Kenneth (Donna Schwedler); and his brother-in-law Jim Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Schwedler of Edina, Missouri; his daughters, Karen (Steve Gregory) of Independence and Debra (Doug Jones) of Edina, Missouri; his siblings, Rodney (Elizabeth Schwedler) of Cerritos, California and Dianne Monroe of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lea, Douglas, Dyson and Gabriel.
Due to allergies the family requests no flowers.
