He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Monroe and Frances Georgena Hart Hayes; and his brother Jerry Lee Hayes. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Hayes of Edina, MO; his children, Beverly A. Hayes of Edina, MO, Annette Mitchell of Macon, MO and Kelly Hayes (Lacy) of Edina, MO; his siblings, John William Hayes (Sherrie) of Edina, MO and Martha Ann Scott (Martie) of Palmyra, MO; his grandchildren, Amber Boatman (Chaz), Isaiah Prebe (Emily), Conner Hayes (Savannah), Collin Hayes, Carrsen Hayes, Kinley Hayes, Wyatt Mitchell, Garrett Mitchell and Hayvin Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Alivia and Alijah Boatman; and his sisters-in-law, Joetta Krueger (Mark) of Lee's Summit, MO and Faye Hayes of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
