He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred William and Beulah Mae Medsker Callahan; his daughter Tara LeAnne Callahan; his brother Larry Gene Callahan; and his parents-in-law, Clinton and Donna Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Callahan of Edina, MO; his daughters, Nicole Nevin (Jeff) of Camp Point, IL and Amy Hubble (Rick) of Knox City, MO; his grandchildren, LeAnne Johnson, Wesley Nevin, Lindsey Mettes (Dylan), Hannah Mixer (Solomon) and Landon Hubble (Kinsley); and his great grandchildren, Henry Johnson, Ellie Johnson, Carter Mettes and Baby Mettes. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home (408 E Morgan, Edina, MO 63537). A masonic service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel (408 E Morgan, Edina, MO 63537). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home (408 E Morgan, Edina, MO 63537). A burial was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at the Park View Memorial Gardens (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501).
